Lawrence Steyn

Lawrence joined American Industrial Partners in 2023 and is a Partner on the Business Development Team, responsible for originating and developing investment opportunities and supporting transaction execution. Prior to joining AIP, he was the Chief Financial Officer of Pony.ai, a global tech start-up focused on autonomous vehicle software. Previously, he was Vice Chairman of investment banking at JPMorgan and a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, focused on advising industrial companies. Earlier in his career, he was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, leading their European aerospace business, and worked at Walt Disney in their corporate Treasury Group.

Lawrence holds an A.B. (magna cum laude) in Social Studies from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania.
