Matthew Johnson

Matthew joined American Industrial Partners in 2026 and is an operations-focused professional on the Investment Team, responsible for the development and implementation of portfolio company operating initiatives. Prior to joining AIP, he was a Special Operations Officer in the U.S. Navy, where he led operations across Europe, Africa, and Asia.

Matthew holds a B.S. in Operations Research (with merit) from the United States Naval Academy, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an M.B.A. from the Sloan School of Management.
