Port Arthur Steam Energy LP operates an energy cogeneration facility that converts waste heat from a host industrial facility into steam, which is sold to a neighboring petroleum refinery. The company’s three boilers annually produce approximately four trillion BTU’s of steam energy for sale to the refinery, and its turbine generator provides all of the electricity required for both the company and its host industrial facility
