Murray Grainger

Murray joined American Industrial Partners in 2023 and is a Partner on the Investment Team, responsible for the development and implementation of the firm’s industrial technology efforts. Prior to joining AIP, he was the founding Managing Director and Global Head of Honeywell Ventures, where he built the corporate venture capital program focused on the industrials sector, with investments and partnerships in emerging technologies, including robotics, advanced manufacturing, AI/ML, cybersecurity, worker productivity, and quantum computing. Murray held numerous leadership roles at Honeywell International including within general management, strategy, and corporate finance. He was a member of Honeywell’s Global M&A team and subsequently led Business Development and M&A for Honeywell’s largest division. Murray also led the Integration Team for the Intelligrated acquisition in 2016.

Murray holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sydney and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.
