John Becker

John joined American Industrial Partners in 2001 and served as a Managing Partner of the firm through 2024. He played a key role in shaping the firm’s strategic direction, building the team, evaluating investment opportunities, and driving operational transformation across the portfolio. Prior to AIP, John acquired and served as Chairman of Newport Pacific Corporation. Earlier in his career, he founded Newport Shrimp Company, an international seafood processing business, which he later sold to Clearwater Fine Foods.

John holds a B.S. from Oregon State University.
